OUR STORY
Educated in quality and working for medical device companies as supplier and product quality manager, Marisa loves this job where she contacts many people internally and externally, but also gives the possibility to the medical executive to use new equipment and devices to allow better and faster treatment of sick patients. The patient in this type of job is the most important, and it is also thanks to this job that Marisa for some years had as a dream and future life project to build something that could be hers and that would allow her to offer something comfortable to people and to have contact and know new people in a different way than her work. This life project finally came to fruition after 8 years of preparation with this superb Bed and Breakfast Refuge Les Prés Volants and its table d’hôtes. Matteo, spouse of Marisa, has followed her in this adventure and new stage of life and supports her enormously!
About the Place
This farm located in the heart of Jura nature will allow you to enjoy hiking, cycling or motorcycling and discover precious places in the surrounding forests, lakes and waterfalls. In winter, you can enjoy snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, with tracks passing near the farm, as well as tracks near La Pesse, which also offers activities with sled dogs. The hosts can advise you on things to do and see around, according to your wishes.
Marisa & Matteo welcome you in a warm and friendly setting, offering you renovated and comfortable rooms, with personalized decoration and a welcoming main room where breakfasts and meals are served.
Some services are already available, such as the relaxation area with its sauna and its sports and relaxation area, as well as the Table d’hôtes under reservation for dinners, offering homemade dishes prepared with fresh and as much as possible local products, while trying to incorporate types of cooking from different countries. Picnics can also be prepared upon reservation for lunches.
The aim is to offer even more services for all ages for maximum comfort, relaxation and entertainment.

The Bed & Breakfast is not a place freely open to the public. We welcome you to our home with great pleasure!
We invite you to take advantage of all the indoor and outdoor living spaces that are available to you, in a friendly atmosphere and respect for everyone’s privacy.
For the comfort and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate your pets.
Check in :
In order to be able to welcome you in the best possible conditions, you can arrive from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Late or early arrivals should be checked with us beforehand.
Check out :
On the last day of your stay, departures are no later than 11 a.m., in order to have the time necessary to offer the people who arrive after you the cleanest accommodation possible. A late departure may be requested.
The breakfasts :
Breakfasts are served inside or outside the house if weather permitting, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
Only in the La P’tite Etoile room, it is possible to request breakfast or an aperitif in the room in advance.
The table d’hôte :
If you wish to have dinner the evening of your arrival or other evenings during your stay, do not forget to indicate it to us during booking, or to contact us at the latest 48 hours in advance to inform us .
The rooms :
- The rooms are not intended for taking meals.
- Wifi access is available free of charge in the rooms and common room. Please ask us for the code when you arrive.
- We checked the cleanliness of the rooms daily, the bin being emptied and the towels being renewed if necessary after 2 nights. Heavy soiling will be the responsibility of the customer. Valuables (jewelers, means of payment, etc.) must not be left in the rooms or in the parking. We decline any responsibility in case of disappearance of these objects.
- If the pillows do not suit you, please contact us on the day of your arrival.
The common room :
The TV is available with a Netflix Refuge account, please use only this one. The kitchen is only available for lunch by our customers by informing us when you arrive if you wish to use it. Coffee or tea are available according to the conditions displayed.
Sauna and relaxation area :
The sauna and relaxation area are available by hourly reservation in advance for the privacy of customers, for a period of one hour (price per person on price table).
Board games and outdoor games:
Games are available on request (petanque balls, scrabble, chess, Uno, The Game, Cluedo, Code names, and others). Consult us.
General rules:
In compliance with Decret No. 2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, it is forbidden to smoke in places for collective use. The entire establishment, including bedrooms except outside, is therefore non-smoking.
As part of the protection of minors, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under the age of 18.
We ask our guests to present a decent dress on all occasions, and to be dressed and shod when traveling in the common areas.
Customers undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, assuming financially, any possible degradation for which they may be responsible.
Children moving within the property are the sole responsibility of their parents.
We decline all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring during your stay at the property.
We are therefore counting on your collaboration to:
- avoid leaving lights on unnecessarily and favor a reasonable use of water
- in winter, do not use the radiators to dry your clothes, we can dry them elsewhere!
- we kindly ask you to throw only toilet paper in the toilets, the other waste having a bin provided for this purpose
- avoid mixing dirty and clean bath towels and leave the dirty ones on the floor to be changed if more than 2 nights in the room
Payment Terms:
We accept payment by credit card or cash. Paypal payments can be accepted the day before departure. Bank checks are not accepted.
